Peugeot — Product Experience

Peugeot introduces the Peugeot 208 XY with a wish to activate people for a test ride. The aim is to enhance the characteristics of this new car for young professionals in their mid-thirties with an interest in fashion, art, design and food.

Approach

Where luxury meets design. With this slogan we create a brand new world around the Peugeot 208 XY. It starts with a Facebook campaign that should trigger a special personal meeting. We develop an online game where two people, X and Y, can experience the new Peugeot 208 XY together. Who buys a car in the end, also receives a personalised Drivers Experience: a Chef’s Table at home, a hoteltrip or a treatment in a wellness resort.

Results

The Facebook campaign goes ballistic and boosts over 100.000 forwarded time line messages. The buyers also appreciate the Drivers Experience, so Peugeot rated the brand activation as very succesful.
